About Drenia
biography
Drenia is a Caribbean National from the island of Saint Lucia, a cultural activist, Mulita media producer, theatre director, and festivals and events creator. A creative with a long-standing passion for storytelling and the arts. She is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (Mona) and the Edna Manley School of the Performing Arts. Currently, she is a student of the Academy of Arts University in Los Angeles, California, in Media Communication and Digital Technology.
She is a writer, director and producer involved in the arts. Her directing credits include several projects themed at both climate change and cultural identity. Drenia believes in the power of art through storytelling as a means of entertainment and a tool for generating change to improve livelihoods.
